About Tint Starz.
One Car at a Time.
Two full time installers, Javi and Tony, tint every car by appointment at 837 Oakton St in Elk Grove Village.
Tint Starz has two full time installers, Javi and Tony. The shop was established in 2023 and works by appointment in Elk Grove Village, inside its own bay, one car at a time.
Who are the window tint installers at Tint Starz?
Javi and Tony own Tint Starz, and one of them tints every car. Both install film, both run the floor, and during shop hours either one answers the phone. Between them they work one car at a time, inside the shop on Oakton Street.
Each has a page: Javi and Tony.
Where is the Tint Starz studio?
Tint Starz is a ceramic window tint shop at 837 Oakton St Unit C in Elk Grove Village, IL, serving Schaumburg, Des Plaines, Hoffman Estates and Arlington Heights. Film goes on best in a clean, controlled bay, not a driveway or a parking lot, so every car that gets tint, PPF or a wrap comes to the studio.
Detailing is the exception: mobile detailing comes to you.
Appointments run Monday to Saturday from 9 to 6. The shop is closed Sunday. Most jobs are done the same day you bring the car in.
What goes on the glass
Three films. Carbon is the entry film. S5 Premium Ceramic and S9 Highest Performance Ceramic are Rayno’s Phantom ceramics: S5 rejects 53 to 72 percent of infrared, depending on the shade, and S9 rejects 91 to 93 percent across Rayno’s published shades.
Both ceramics block 99.9 percent of UV, and the warranty runs lifetime on S9, 2 years on S5, no warranty on Carbon. Ceramic window tint puts S5 and S9 side by side.
Who else works in the building?
Tint is the shop’s core line, and two more trades work under the same roof. Jordin of Wrapology handles color change wraps, paint protection film and chrome delete. Lando, our detailing lead, runs detailing in the bay next to the tint and from the van.
Everyone is on the team page, with what each person does.
